Popsicle Waste Bin

The Popsicle Waste Bin is a new versatile outdoor bin solution from TreCe. The waste bins feature high-quality materials for outdoor use to withstand the challenging Scandinavian outdoor environment.

The Popsicle Bin carcass is made of a galvanized steel sheet powder-coated with a stainless steel lock, making it fit outside or indoors.

Inlets are available on both the front and back. If the bin is for outdoor use, we recommend adding a lid to prevent scavenging birds from entering. Popsicle holds 57 L.

The bin/container has a height of 733 mm, total height with feet 1044 mm.

Popsicle shaft 1
Feet and legs in powder-coated sheet steel and are intended for indoor use.

Popsicle shaft 2
Concrete base and legs in stainless steel, outdoor use

Popsicle shaft 3
Stainless steel legs cast in concrete with rebar, outdoor use. The shaft should go down 294 mm below ground, 311 mm above ground.

Systainability

  • Sheet steel consists of 20% recycled material.
  • The steel plate is 100% recyclable.
  • The powder coating of the frame is a good environmental choice as no solvents are required

Metal — frame and shaft

The frame consists of galvanized sheet metal, Shaft 1 consists of cold-rolled steel sheet, Shafts 2 and 3 consist of stainless steel.
The cold-rolled steel sheet consists of 20% recycled material.
The metal used meet the requirements in table 1.
