The Cell Pod Cabana Pod is a freestanding office furniture solution designed to define space, create seclusion and provide a place for collaboration spaces within working environments. A Cabana. Taken from the Spanish word for hut, refers to an unfixed structure with three lightweight walls. It allows businesses to build freestanding space-defining rooms to create a sense of place within open-plan the office as an alternative to not being able to build walls.

Defining space doesn't mean it has to be a room with a door, sometimes to make space work you need to make it a destination; somewhere office workers go to get something done. After observations of this as a growing trend in modern workplace design and using some of the same principles and aesthetics that drove the development of the Cell Pod meeting pods they could deliver something better. The result is the Cabana, a modular, demountable room system that defines space in open offices.

With the costs involved and the planning permission required, the Cabana offers a compelling alternative to fixed meeting rooms. Modular and freestanding, Cabana offers a lesser, but refined degree of acoustic privacy.

As a modular system, you can select what type of wall construction you want, each wall of Cabana can be different if you like. The main extrusions are wrapped in an Oak foil to give a more custom-built appearance. Cabana can be specified with a closed acoustic ceiling with integrated lighting or with a slated upholstered fin ceiling.
